Lectors

lectorsDo you have a talent for reading aloud so that people can understand and relate to what the author intended?  Maybe you've only read to children or grandchildren, but you may also feel a calling to use that gift in the lector ministry at our St. Lawrence church services.  Lectors are assigned to read the first or second readings and the intercessions at a designated Mass for a month at a time, and they generally read from two to four times per year, depending on the Mass schedule.   The lector schedule for 2015 will be prepared in November.  If you are interested in being trained for this ministry (in about a one hour training session), please contact Ann Stankiewicz (leave a message) at 578-0886 so that she can arrange a convenient time for training, and to include you in the 2015 schedule.
