EXTRA COLLECTION THIS WEEKEND – Feb 16/17 for the Church in Latin America
This weekend is the Collection for the Church in Latin America! Many people in Latin America and the Caribbean do not have access to church programs and ministries because of a rising secular culture, rural terrain, and a shortage of ministers. Your generosity makes it possible for our brothers and sisters in Latin America and the Caribbean to share in the life of the Church and grow closer to Christ. Please be generous to the special collection! Place your donation in the regular collection basket. To learn more, please visit www.usccb.org/latin-america
2ND COLLECTION – February 23/24: Little Sisters of the Poor
On Saturday, February 23rd and Sunday, February 24th, the Little Sisters of the Poor from St. Augustine’s Home in Indianapolis will be at our parish seeking support for their ministry to the elderly poor. As they celebrate the 150th anniversary of the arrival of the Little Sisters in the United States, they look forward to sharing with you how you can participate in their mission. Together with a diverse network of collaborators, they offer the neediest elderly of every race and religion a home where they will be welcomed as Christ, cared for as family and accompanied with dignity until God calls them to himself. There will be a second collection, and the sisters will be available with envelopes after Mass if you wish to send in a donation at a later time. You can read more or make a donation online at: http://www.littlesistersofthepoorindianapolis.org Thank you and God Bless you!
