LOOKING FOR A WAY TO HELP THE PARISH? BECOME AN USHER!
Saint Lawrence is in need of adults 18 or older who would enjoy the opportunity to help at Mass by becoming an Usher. The services we provide as Ushers are very easy to learn and your commitment would be serving one month out of every three at the Mass that you normally attend. If you are interested, please contact Phil Meuleman at email@example.com and he will answer any questions you may have and get you signed up as a member of the Ushers! Thank you!!
HELPING OUR SCHOOL STUDENTS IN MEMORY OF WILBERT AND PEGGY MARTIN
Hello Saint Lawrence Community,
As you may remember, my grandparents, Wilbert and Peggy Martin, were parishioners at the church for over 50 years. They both believe in and exemplified the Catholic values of stewardship and loving our neighbors. They also truly valued being a part of Saint Lawrence, instilling in me and my family the importance of community and helping everyone, especially those who are not always in a position to help themselves.
In that spirit, in conjunction with the school principal, Ms. Watson, we have decided to create The Martin Lunch Fund. To honor their memory and everything my grandparents stood for, this fund will be used to assist families to pay their students' monthly lunch bill to alleviate any financial hardships. If you wish to make a tax-deductible contribution to the fund or have any questions, please call Ms. Watson at 317-543-4923. Your support will be greatly appreciated!
