Faith Formation Commission

Our Mission

We, the Faith Formation Commission of St. Lawrence Parish for the benefit of all children, youth, and adults, commit to develop and deepen an authentic relationship with Jesus Christ in the Catholic Faith. We will promote knowledge of:

  • Scripture and Tradition
  • Moral living
  • Prayer
  • The Sacraments

How do we do that?

The Faith Formation Commission works with the Pastor, the Director of Religious Education, the Administrator of Adult Faith Education, and the Youth Minister to provide and monitor faith-building programs. These include Sacramental preparation, RCIA, and Sunday Morning Religious Education (SMRE).

The Commission also supports faith-sustaining programs, such as Bible studies, youth activities, VBS, and Missions. Adults, children, and families are all touched by the efforts of Faith Formation Commission.
